Supplier operates from a customer service center located in Bangkok, Thailand,
from which it ships globally. It operates as a business service of Pacific
Supercool Ltd., which is managed by Steve Sykes, an American businessman
based in Thailand.
They key activity of Pacific Supercool is providing resources for research and prototype development in the area of thermoelectric technology. As key components involved in this technology have become less costly, thermoelectric technology is now reaching the point where it becomes feasible to begin introducing this technology into more common, everyday applications. However – for both experimenters and small-scale manufacturers, obtaining necessary supplies and components can be a headache. Getting all the things needed can take weeks or months, and often requires dealing with a score of different vendors, in many places. If sourced individually, the various components effectively carry three separate costs – the cost of the component itself, the cost of shipping it to buyer, and the cost of delivering payment to the vendor. Our objective is to provide a one-stop supply source from which all components can be purchased as a consolidated order – with just one shipping fee, and one payment process. And – through use of PayPal – customers can pay via credit card. We launched ThermoelectricSupplier.Com in July 2004 – making a basic range of standard products readily available from a one-stop supply source. We have since shipped to customers in 19 countries – including such diverse locations as Portugal, Israel, El Salvador, Turkey, Venezuela, and the Slovak Republic. Our aim is to provide a responsive source for all of the basic building blocks necessary to get started with prototyping of simple thermoelectric devices. Our target markets are experimenters, educators, hobbyists, tinkerers, and small business entrepreneurs worldwide. We are also hoping to become a significant supplier of educational familiarization kits to universities and technical schools around the world – enabling the awareness of this technology to be spread to an ever-growing population of young innovators. During 2005, we are transforming our operations to also begin offering prototype development and sub-contract manufacturing services to overseas customers. More details may be found at the www.pacificsupercool.com website. Welcome to our site! We hope that you will find here those things needed to transform your ideas into working prototypes. We welcome any and all feedback, comments, and suggestions. Write to steve@pacificsupercool.com |
