Component Familiarization Kit

We realize that hobbyists, students, educators, experimenters and prototype developers may have difficulty individually sourcing all of the components necessary to develop a complete systems prototype of a thermoelectric cooling unit. So, we offer a “one stop” solution - a kit containing all of the items necessary to build your own cooling unit.

We do offer educational discounts, for academic organizations ordering five or more kits, for shipment to one address.

You have to place only one order, you pay only one shipping charges, and you make only one payment – and we can accept credit card payments from most locations (via PayPal billing notice). We normally ship via EMS Postal airmail, which typically takes 3-6 days to reach most destinations.

This set of parts is also useful for corporate developers or purchasing agents, seeking to obtain evaluation components.

Pre-Assembled Sub-Assemblies

We offer several pre-built assemblies – freeing you of the need to drill holes, or obtain screws, bushings, washers, or work with messy thermal adhesives.

Compact Cold Plate Assembly

The first is a cold plate assembly, featuring a cold plate that measures 100 mm x 80 mm x 8 mm thick. 
It uses a special custom cold sink designed to deliver optimum cooling results. Unit comes with a 
chrome fan guard cover protecting the fan.

Unit weighs just under 800 grams, and measures 80 mm x 103 mm x 90 mm thick.

Selling price for individual units is US $44 each , FOB Bangkok .

Heat Extraction Assembly

This unit consists of a large heat sink, a 120 mm cooling fan, TEC1-12705 module, and an aluminum spacer block. Total weight is 830 grams. Thickness of spacer plus thickness of TEC module allow for penetration of a total of 28 mm of insulation. Unit cost, FOB Bangkok , is US $32 each.		Bottom view

Air-to-Air Heat Exchange Assembly

Unit consists of a heat extraction assembly, as described above, plus a “cold sink” 
with 90 mm recirculation fan. Gap between the two heat sinks allows for 28 mm of 
insulation. Unit weighs almost 1,200 grams. Unit cost, FOB Bangkok , is US $48 each.
